I ASK MYSELF:

Why is it so difficult for us women to enjoy recognition for our energy, our movements, our bodies and our grace?

Why do we protect ourselves with a shield of "I don't want to be an object"?

Do we name "perpetrators" so that we can put ourselves in the role of victims?

Are we still unable to lovingly accept and find beauty in all parts of our own bodies, and therefore do not allow anyone else to do so either?

Do we still harbour thoughts that we have to fulfil certain obligations towards observers?

In the end, are we women not so much afraid that men enjoy us with their gaze, but even more afraid of other women who might be triggered by your body image?

Women are much harsher in their judgement and comparison of their own bodies and other women's bodies than men are.

We allow each other to shine collectively, instead of keeping ourselves small out of a misguided sense of solidarity or projecting our own discontent onto others.

WHETHER WE WOMEN LIKE IT OR NOT:
